With ornate imagery reminiscent of paintings from the story's 18th century period, Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of William Makepeace Thackeray's novel depicts the rise and fall of a sensitive rogue in the British aristocracy. Shiiiiiiit...the only Kubrick other than the Killing missing in my Kubrick HD collection..Mr. Kickass..it often seems to me as though u knew what I want..first happened with the Tarkovsky film - Sacrifice, then with High and Low & Naked..the Gilmour was rather unexpected..merci beaucoup Monsieur Kickass.
